Hello everyone!
I just wanted to thank you for joining this club and wanted us to get to know each other a little better. (Nothing personal to keep this safe. ;)) I posted some questions but if you have a good question too, then post a comment and I will add it! :D
Don't be shy! Just post some (or all!) of your answers in a comment down below! :)

1. Besides The Door Within, what are some other books you enjoy?

2. Do you have any other Christian fiction books you would recommend?

3. How about music?

4. Are there any songs that you hear that make you think of The Door Within trilogy? And why?

5. What is your favorite medium of art?

6. Any movies you recommend?

7. What is your favorite Bible verse?

8. What would you like to see with this club? (more contests, TDW news on the journals, ect.)

Thanks for participating!

1. I read a lot of both Christian and nonChristian fiction... so it's really hard to pick just a few. ^^; Hm...I'd say that Dracula, Narnia, HP, The Looking Glass Wars, Howl's Moving Castle, and Jacky Faber are probably my top books/series at the moment (not including TDW, of course). ^^
Since I see other people have mentioned manga...Fullmetal Alchemist, Nightmare Inspector, 07-Ghost, Pandora Hearts, Soul Eater (after volume 1.. xP), Liar Game...I have WAY too many "favorites." x.x;;

2. For younger readers, Dragons In Out Midst by Bryan Davis (older folk can read it, too...good characters and story, but some parts now strike me as silly ^^; ). Dragonquest & Dragonspell by Donita K. Paul are good, too. (Haven't read other books in the series, so can't say about those.) The Circle trilogy (about to become a quartet) by Ted Dekker is darn epic, I tell ya.
Also, A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. fabulous, fabulous book... and just because it's popular with the scifi folk does NOT mean it's not Christian. ;)

3. SKILLLLET! SKILLET! SKILLET! ...did I mention Skillet? O.o
Pillar, Thousand Foot Krutch, RED, Demon Hunter... also, Vic Mignogna! that guy's not just a voice actor. also a great singer. ;)
lessee..if you're not really a rock person, then Casting Crowns and Hillsong are some good bands. :]

4. "The Art of Breaking" by TFK, "Hero" by Skillet...also, I think "Our Solemn Hour" by Within Temptatino might apply...

5. literature! it's what I eat, drink, and breathe. :]
but I do a good deal of scribbling with pencils and charcoals, too. xD

6. Well...other than obvious classics like POTC, Narnia, etc. etc....the new Star Trek (I cried in the opening scene...and I don't really cry at movies. at all. O_o ), The Dark Knight & Batman Begins (epics with powerful themes), TMNT (the 2007 CGI, dude.), Serenity (words along cannot express my love for this movie), Master & Commander (a classic!), and Sahara (sweeeet home Alabama! xD ).

7. James 1:12
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

8. I vote more contests...even though I tend to be a lazy turd and not pull out my sketchbook nearly as often as I should...I'd like to see more of what these club members have in their proverbial back-pockets of talent! =D
